Just off the main pacific highway, The Garden Bar & Kitchen showcases the regions exciting, delicious and seasonal local produce. The venue is located at Frederickton Old Cheese Factory, offering a contemporary warehouse feel, boasting panoramic water views over the Mighty Macleay.
The Owners
Megan & Tom Reid established The Garden Bar & Kitchen in 2019. Megan, originally from South West Rocks and Tom from England, both decided to move back to the beautiful Mid-North Coast to start their dream of running a restaurant & wedding venue and to raise their family.
Over the years The Garden Bar has established its self as one of the stand out restaurant’s & premium wedding venues on the Mid North Coast. We could not have done this without the continued support of our community, loyal customers and local suppliers.

Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and evening with friends at this lovely restaurant. From the Wine to the Cheese Platter to the Beef Sliders to the Arancini Balls and then desserts and cuppa’s..all delicious and we didn’t leave a crumb…and the great customer service from the very efficient and friendly staff.

Great Antipasto platter and beef sliders shared between 3 people for lunch. Taste sensational and enough for all of us to fill full and satisfied. Great after taste too. Added to good food, service was helpful, attentive but not overbearing. Reasonable cost. Good selection of drinks – alcohol and non-alcohol. Spectacular views of the Macleay River.

This place is awesome, great food and service and a unbelievable view over the Macleay. This is a must to come and enjoy some great food a drink and relax enjoying the great view. Will be coming back here a lot.
